Salon owner and founder, Kim Dykstra wanted a professional and polished salon with a friendly welcoming vibe – but with a twist. She wanted to take the fear out of the experience. Something fun and collaborative for guest and stylist. Ever evolving, Kim has taken the traditional salon experience, and focused on something new. Taking creative risks while maintaining a consistent guest experience was where Kim started. Then deciding to go full on into the untapped world of Curls and Organic Curl products.
While a sophisticated experience is expected and consistently delivered, it's the friendly, attentive service and highly talented Cocos team that sets it apart. All stylists are trained with the highest quality in curl products and curl education. Our passion for natural textured hair and curly hair has organically helped us to evolve and raise the bar in our craft. Happily, this has cultivated a loyal following for us.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone is heard, valued and is a part of something special. Our collective passion means you will leave Cocos feeling on top of the world.
We have combined experience in traditional haircutting and colouring techniques with a new forward push on hair design including weather and curl specific products made by us SHYFT TEXTURE.
